Tsunami / Sumatra 2005

In December 2004, a brutal earthquake of 9.0 on the coast of Sumatra (Indonesia) lasts about seven minutes. The seismic movement provoked a great Tsunami that mercilessly hit the entire west of the island, taking with it everything in its path and causing the death of more than 180,000 people. These photographs are from the area of Aceh, one of the worst hit regions.
